To sum it up, it is a wonderful album which is melodious and agreeable, proving that Elton John is still as popular today as he was in the 70s. In this album Stevie Wonder has included songs with different artists, and has incorporated various elements of different genres in this album and still it is quite enjoyable. Every song is evidently made during the COVID-19 pandemic and adds an intimacy to the songs that come from being made in lockdowns. One can track songs such as “Cold Heart” & “After All” and see how John was able to reinvent himself but still retain some core values. It is energized, and John’s unique voice keeps coming through; it is evident that the “The Lockdown Sessions” is proof that John still has more to do in the music industry.
