Coconut Cream’s EP, "What Kind of Music Do You Like to Listen To?", offers a whimsical yet poignant exploration of everyday life through music. Led by the songwriter Astari Mudana, The Sydney quartet sings usual songs people can identify with from the trivial to the profound. Songs such as “Safety Net” reveal Mudana’s talent of sharing own experiences while singing and painting the picture of a typical spar with her ex-lovers. The instrumental is lively by referring to an independent rock variant with light pop appeal.
