With her debut record, Sabrina Teitelbaum presents the ugly in Blondshell, thus showing the other side of the human side of living. Namely, the tracks like ‘Kiss’ and ‘I Don’t Want To Be Here’ contribute to the record with good energy and vocal feedback which is generally reggae with the lyrics, feeling very truthful. The music category of alt-rock is distinctive and in addition to the fact that the lyrics themselves are rather original and well thought out, it makes the songs interesting from the start. Not only these changes in Teitelbaum’s music from popular pop to having more of a rock inclination are good and natural progression to show that she needs to be loved for who she is. This is a definite introduction that creates the band’s identity in the new world of modern rock music ✌.
