Year of the Rat by Plastic Cactus is an incredible, elaborate hypnotic rock single that talks about change and self-reflection . It begins with mellow, giving vocals that harmonize well with a tremoloed guitar line and an encouraging organ. All the rustiness heard on guitars gives out great melodic flavors, as soon as it reaches two minutes, before heading to a satisfying end that lingers. This does not only leave the listeners into the surprising beats of change but also give them notions of the awesome experience that await them in the full feature album. Plastic Cactus has build a great and meaningful hymn.
