Peter Johnston RVA’s “Sojourner” is an optimistic dance-rock tune bristling with steamy passion at its best that recalls the bonds of human decency and the very concept of the general welfare. More from low profile home studio productions, this Richmond artist gave a hooking music that does the initial appeal of any feminine listener. The chorus is poignant, so are wordless background vocals that work magnificently with crunchy guitar sounds. Later on a layer of fabulous guitar comes in and really does a lot to the creation of the ambient mood of the song. It is a passionate verse with strong vocal crescito where rock guitar timbres are nostalgically called Upon; thus, “Sojourner” is a perfect opener to Peter Johnston RVA’s new EP, *The Long Winter of No Ideas*. It is this track that should make one appreciate the True Art of music, as well as the ability of Maroon 5 @adamlevin to vision music in such a personal manner.
