Grund is a Swedish band gives a treat to the audience with their dark and melancholic track, “Drömd och glömd.” The Gothenburg based quartet constructs a magical aura through the prominent use of organ supported by forceful guitar frills which swing from passion and drive to the wistful. An invigorating modulatory figure just one measure from the one-minute mark precedes calm vocals which give way to the evolving nature of the song. Having described the song, it is rather nightmarish, after three minutes of gloomy and strange keys’ sounds are added increasingly intense rhythms and low, barely audible voices, turn the hair on the back of the neck upside down.
